Did someone say Iced Tea?

Posted by Beach Loveland on

This month we are featuring two Specialty Iced Teas!  While we love coffee, it’s always good to branch out and try something a little different.  Both are refreshing and hit the spot on these HOT summer days. First up is the Thai Tea Latte.  It is a special blend of Indian black tea, our hand scraped vanilla sugar, and almond milk, served over ice.  This can also be served as a traditional Iced Tea (without the Almond Milk) and available to add a Flavored syrup such as Black Raspberry or Pomegranate.Next in our line up is the  Matcha Green Tea Latte. This is a blend of ceremonial quality matcha tea, our hand scraped vanilla sugar, and whole milk, also served over ice.  Walking around...

Meet Our Newest Barista: Haylie

Posted by Beach Loveland on

Haylie is the newest barista to join the Loveland lineup. She moved to Columbia in October of 2016 from Colorado and began working at Loveland Coffee in April. Although business is sometimes slower in the afternoon, we had several customers come through the kiosk during our interview. I enjoyed getting to see Haylie in action- I could tell that she cares about coffee and people. What drew you to Loveland Coffee? I really liked the culture. While a "classic" Yirga coffee, all of the sub regions tend to have different flavor profiles. For example: Adado - stone fruit, Konga - citrus and stone fruit, and for Kochere, it has a strong fruit tea...

Drink of the Month: Cinnful Dolce

Posted by Beach Loveland on

We are excited to launch our New Loveland Coffee Blog, as we love to engage and educate our fellow coffee lovers! Chris Rawlings, a barista at Loveland Coffee, was recently interviewed by Elisheva Hinkle, a local blogger of Teen Musing, and she asked him a few questions about his newest drink. Elisheva will be our guest Blogger and we are happy to have her on board!   Every month or so Chris starts working on a new drink for the Loveland customers. With this drink, I was lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes look at how it was made. Chris even let me grind beans, insert the portafilter, and swirl the milk! I got to keep the drink I helped make and I'll tell you right...
